The Hope Mills Rockfish joined the Old North state League in the summer of 2024. The Rockfish are part of the Coastal Division, playing against five other teams in Southeast North Carolina. The Rockfish are a Veteran owned, collegiate wood bat summer baseball team, focused on developing college baseball players and preparing them for the next level. The Rockfish organization prioritizes community and aims to be highly involved members in Hope Mills Youth Sports and more. The Rockfish ownership group, completed $100,000 of renovations into the pre-existing field behind the Hope Mills Parks and Recreation building prior to their inaugural season.
